Breakfasts were included in our accommodation package, which was a huge bonus – our hotel delivered a selection of items to our apartment every morning, including bread, pastries, ham, eggs, Greek specialties, fruits and more. This not only saved us money but also provided a convenient way to start the day. For lunch, we often opted for a light breakfast or picked up some essentials from the local grocery store.

Elia restaurant
Elia restaurant stood out as one of our top choices among the many excellent dining options on Milos. Located by the sea, opposite the port, this eatery is situated just a short stroll from Adamas airport. Upon arrival, we were greeted with the option to dine inside or alfresco, taking in the stunning views of the sea. Despite being fully booked, we were able to secure a spot on their waiting list for 15 minutes and enjoy a refreshing drink while we waited.
Once seated by the water’s edge, we kicked off our meal with a selection of delectable dolmades, served with a tangy Greek yoghurt accompaniment. Our main courses, featuring lamb Kleftiko wrapped in oven paper and Osobuko with mashed potatoes and a rich sauce, did not disappoint. The lamb was cooked to perfection, and the generous portions left us wondering if we could have easily shared just one dish.
Throughout our dining experience, we were impressed by the exceptional service, charming decor, and inviting ambiance. To top it all off, a sparkling water, coffee, and crusty bread added up to a reasonable €55.60 bill. If you’re planning a visit to Elia restaurant, I highly recommend booking in advance, especially during peak hours between 8pm and 9pm, to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Aggeliki
In the charming town of Adamas, a gem called Aggeliki awaits. Situated on the port at the foot of the town, this sweet spot has earned its reputation as the best destination for desserts. Our order consisted of a generous serving of Baklava accompanied by a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream and a rich chocolate milkshake. To our delight, we were also presented with a complimentary bottle of water. Eric thoroughly enjoyed his Baklava, praising its large portion size.
I, on the other hand, was in heaven with my indulgent milkshake. What sets Aggeliki apart is their commitment to creating authentic milkshakes, free from ice cubes and boasting a generous helping of creamy goodness. In fact, my milkshake was so substantial that it could have easily been shared between two. The service at Aggeliki was impressive, with our order fulfilled quickly despite the bustling atmosphere, especially for takeaway.
Our total bill came out to €12, with Eric’s Baklava and my milkshake each costing €6. For a unique dessert experience or to share a treat with friends, Aggeliki is an excellent choice.
Let’s meat
Located on the port, Let’s Meat is a charming eatery that exceeded our expectations. We were craving authentic gyros and this cozy restaurant delivered. Our order of chicken gyros arrived promptly, with generous portions that left us feeling satisfied but not stuffed. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the crispy fries were a delightful accompaniment. The creamy yoghurt sauce added a tangy touch, generously applied by the friendly staff.
With a cold beer and refreshing water bottle, our meal came out to a reasonable €23.60. While Let’s Meat may not be a high-end establishment, its affordable prices and tasty dishes make it an excellent choice for those on a budget.
Flisvos
Flisvos, situated on the port, boasts an abundance of seating options. Despite being quite busy during our visit, the restaurant efficiently accommodated us at a table without a lengthy wait. The experience was pleasant from the start. Our culinary adventure at Flisvos consisted of a Greek salad, moussaka, and crispy zucchini fries. While everything was enjoyable, I must admit that the zucchini fries fell slightly short of my expectations. Nonetheless, they still proved to be a tasty treat.
For €28.30, including our chosen dishes and a small bottle of sparkling water, Flisvos provided a satisfactory dining experience, although it might have been slightly overpriced.
New Malion
New Malion, situated by the sea, proved to be a bustling spot on our visit around 9pm. Despite the initial delay, we managed to secure a table just 30 minutes later. The quaint decor and lovely ambiance overlooking the water made for a delightful dining experience. To start, we were treated to some crusty bread and a delicious olive spread. For our main course, each of us opted for the signature Souvlaki, which did not disappoint.
The generous portions left us feeling satisfied, but unfortunately, we couldn’t quite finish everything and had to take some home with us. While the service was a tad slow, the quality of the food more than made up for it. Our meal, including drinks, came out to €22.50, which we found to be an excellent value. Overall, we would highly recommend New Malion to anyone visiting Milos.
Mostra cocktail lounge bar
Mostra, a charming cocktail lounge bar, can be found in Adamas town, accessible by strolling along the port until you spot the prominent staircase on the right. This iconic landmark serves as a gateway to Mostra’s inviting atmosphere. I wholeheartedly endorse this hidden gem! Upon settling in, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the harbor, yachts, and Milos’ picturesque bay – an idyllic setting for a romantic evening with your partner.
Our experience at Mostra was particularly memorable, as we enjoyed one cocktail and one mocktail for a reasonable total of €21.
Alevromilos
As we made our way back from the beach, we stumbled upon Alevromilos, a charming restaurant nestled beside the road that connects Sarakiniko, Pollonia, and Adamas. Our curiosity piqued, we decided to stop in for a drink and were warmly welcomed by the staff. Upon entering, we were impressed by the vast outdoor space adorned with lush greenery and vibrant flora.

Aktaion Pizzeria stands out as the top choice for pizza enthusiasts in Milos, boasting an idyllic setting on the port of Adamas. We had the pleasure of visiting this gem not once, but twice. The first visit saw us indulging in a refreshing Greek salad and a Hawaiian-style pizza, totaling €18.20. On our second visit, we opted for another Greek salad paired with a unique half-and-half combination featuring both Hawaiian and Greek pizza.
Both experiences were nothing short of exceptional, making me confident in recommending this spot to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.
O’Hamos, one fo the most traditional Milos restaurants
O’Hamos, a highly sought-after eatery in Adamas’ Milos district, is approximately 15 minutes on foot from the town center. For those who prefer not to walk, a nearby parking lot offers an alternative. Despite our attempts to dine there on multiple occasions, we were consistently met with lengthy lines and advised that securing a table before 11 pm would be challenging, even upon arrival at 8 pm. Some patrons had been waiting for over an hour, only to remain in the queue.
The restaurant does not accept bookings for the next day, but it’s possible to reserve a spot on the same day, provided you arrive during operating hours. Ultimately, the hassle of securing a table outweighed the benefits, leading us to explore alternative options.
